What’s up! My name is Brandon, and I’m a Student Ambassador at WishWell. Born and raised in San Diego and a proud product of the Sweetwater Union High School District, I’ve always known I wanted to work in mental health and make a real difference. After high school, I started pursuing that path through online courses. Life threw some challenges my way — balancing work and school, financial setbacks, and COVID-19 — but quitting on my purpose was never an option. My passion for mental health and people’s well-being never left me. I heard about WishWell through word of mouth from a childhood friend, and even though I had doubts during the hiring process, I made a decision that changed everything: I bet on myself. I applied. I stayed ready. And a year later, I got the opportunity. Now I’m here — growing, leading, learning, and helping others step into their own strength. This isn’t just a job for me. It’s purpose-driven work. And I’m just getting started….
