Hey, my name is Sammy and I am a Student Ambassador here at WishWell. I have a huge passion for mental health that developed during my senior year in high school. It was after I had taken a class called peer counseling along with peer mediation, that I had my eyes opened to the fulfillment and joy I felt helping support people my age be their best versions of themselves. That would later on translate through my study of psychology in university. I had first started off Southwestern Community College having then since transferred to University of California, San Diego but look to finish my degree at San Diego State University. My long term goal with my degree would be to eventually open up a private practice for therapy and counseling services. I am eager to learn and ready to grow here within WishWell that would later on propel me through my career in the mental health field. Other fun things about me are that I also work at the clothing store Spencer’s, I love to cook but mostly bake, I am obsessed with music, and am huge into sports, predominantly football or baseball. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your WishWell experience.
